Merchant Navy Seamen records 1918-1941 - findmypast

http://www.findmypast.co.uk/media/ne...vy-seamen.html

Records covering 1835-1857 coming at a later stage. (Unfortunately there aren't many surviving records covering the period in between, apart from crew lists and records of masters and mates.)

Nabbed a great uncle!

Also found two records for the same man, where the clerk has noted on the later one that the sailor has knocked four years off his age!
