Bristol parish register entries - FamilySearch

It's an index, not the actual images to browse.

Bristol parish registers

It says there are 271,298 entries, but I haven't been able to find a list of exactly what parishes are included for what events and dates. But if you're looking for Bristol ancestors, it must be worth a try. Let us know what you find!

Hmmm, I've found my 3xg-grandparents' marriage on there but they list him as John Edward Vowles although it just says John Vowles in the actual PR marriage entry. Maybe they misread "his mark" as Edward!

I hope there is more to come.....only one record can I find for my lot.

Thanks for that info Kite! I can see some Stapleton ones I wanted. I do wish the images were there though - I like browsing through them like I can with the Norfolk ones.

This has been updated and now there are 724,809 entries, so worth another look.
