Australia WWII Special Operations

Just came across the very interesting website of Special Operations Australia, a database of members of the special forces in WWII, which included Z Special Unit (aka Z Force), M Special Unit, Services Reconnaissance Department, Inter-Allied Services Department, 200 Flight, FELO, Allied Intelligence Bureau, Secret Intelligence Australia and NEFIS III.

The site isn't only of interest to people with Australians in their trees, because it also includes some members of the British SOE who belonged to Inter-Allied units. I assume the people included in the database mostly served in the Far East and Pacific.

The site has a lot of information about the various units, including their equipment, and some photos.
