Going by her supposed age at death, Mary was born about 1692, but this would make her about 30 when she got married, and since her youngest child was born in 1743 I think this could be wrong. James and Janet had a daughter Marion baptised in 1706 who could be Mary but I haven't managed to prove or disprove this yet.
