If anyone hasn't visited the Tas archives recently, they seem to have added more original images; at least they weren't there last time I looked.

In addition to convicts' conduct records, which have been available for ages, you can now view original wills and convicts' applications for permission to marry (which says whether permission was granted or not, unlike the index).

There may be more - I haven't checked all the indexes yet.

Thanks, Mary, I have so far found lots of COLLIS family wills which helps fill in details, including children I did not know about.

I can see I am going to spend ages looking through them all, and then the Dawsons, and then...........
