If you can't find a relative who should have been living in the Manchester area in 1841, it might be worth noting that Ancestry has accidentally listed some parts of Manchester under Leicestershire :eek:

I cannot now remember which census it is...maybe 1881?...but some Lancashire people have been transported to LANARKshire!
