Presumably the marriage is to Thomas Hallam? I could have a look at it next time I go to the Notts Archives.

Here's the marriage, at Bingham:
Thomas Hallam of the parish of Kilvington, in the parish of Staunton, in this county, and Mary Jones of this parish were married in this church by licence with consent of parents 3 April 1828. Both "made their mark" rather than signing. The witnesses were Edwd Dean and Thomas Hart.

All the entries on that page and the pages either side have "with consent of parents" written in, so it doesn't imply that either of them was a minor. And Thomas Hart is a witness at all the marriages.
