Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Mary Ann Holland
Date and place of birth
1806-1810 Probably Cork, Ireland (from 1851 census). In 1861 she says Stepney Middlesex, but the family was in crisis at that point (son-in-law just died, daughter expecting posthumous baby etc). Her daughter's pob is also wrongly given as Stepney at the same time - I think either a mistake in the heat of the moment or trying to avoid the family being split up and sent to workhouses around the country.

1841 - not found - even though they were at the same address (Crown Court in the parish of St George in the East) before and after the census
1851 - 1 Smith Place, parish of St George in the East
1861 - 4 Suffolk Street Poplar- living with her daughter
