William Daniel Oakes 1942 http://www.jje.info/lostlives/exhib/oakeswd/newguinea.html

Edward Oakes 1941

the man I am looking for is Daniel Oakes b 1879 died 1956

recently I found out my g grandmother Zipporah died while I was alive and I felt robbed at not knowing her ...I was 8 when she died and Don`t recall meeting her....Daniel Oakes , if he died in Garston might be a similar scenario.I would appreciate it if anyone could confirm he die in Garston...thanx....allan:)

Thanks Kiterunner....don`t think he died in Garston we are Liverpool South...death says Liverpool North ...that`s a shame, cos if he died in Garston , I probably would have been in his house as a young child...never mind...thanks again....allan;)

Allan

If he dropped dead out shopping in Liverpool north, then that's where his death is registered regardless of where he LIVED.

Or if he was taken to a hospital in the north of the city and died there.
