Hihave a relative residing in 1891 at a Roman Catholic Reformatory school
is this like a punishment school ??
and if so how can I find out why he was in there;(;(

I guess you'd need to find out where the school records are kept.

You didn't have to do much to be sent to a Reformatory. Being out of parental control was enough, quite often.
