William Clark is the father of my 2xg-grandfather George Clark. His name and occ appear on the marriage cert for George in 1849.
I think George was born 7th June (his wife kept a birthday book!) 1824 or 1825 in Bath, Somerset. If I could find his baptism (he may not have been C of E - probably 50:50 chance) then I would know who William was married to and I might get somewhere! lol Sadly, George had already left home by the 1841 census.
