Their other children who are on FamilySearch are Thomas 1806, Susannah 1808, Cicely 1814, Mary Ann 1820. So Samuel and Sarah probably got married in or before 1806 and Sarah's death should be in or after 1820.

Ah, their marriage is on FamilySearch too - Samuel Love married Sarah Minton 13 Jul 1805 St Leonard, Broseley, Shropshire.

I suppose he could have been a widower when he married Sarah - or have you seen the actual PR entry for the marriage saying he was a bachelor?

Hmmm, one of those ancestry trees shows Samuel and Sarah as having a child Hannah born 1800 and shows Samuel born 1796 and Sarah born 1786! Maybe the 1796 was supposed to be 1769 and Hannah was his daughter by a previous wife before Sarah?

Possible ,, I have been trying to find nearby parishes where Sarah could have come from , not having lot of luck with distractions etc;;dam phone

I think your best bet would be to get a lookup of the marriage entry in the parish register to see if Samuel and / or Sarah was married before and to get the witnesses' names.

Yes I think so as well Kate , wonder if they are on the new beta search dont know about shropshire do you ??

The marriage is listed on the new FamilySearch site but it doesn't give their marital statuses and they haven't got any Shropshire images on there.

If that's your Sarah then she was relatively old when she married, though.

Had reply from the person who was going to look at the records ;;

I also checked the baptism record for Sarah

Diddlebury Parish Records
March 20th 1774

William and Sarah, twins of Edwerd and Mary Minton were baptised.
No other info sorry. Not much help in narrowing down your search.
I will check some of my discs to see if the surname Minton comes up in any other areas of the county
