Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Official surname unknown.
According to his daughter Ann's Australian death cert, his name was Joseph Teakle. However, Ann's surname is spelled differently on every document I have. The variations collected so far are Tickle (the most common version), Tickles, Titlin, Titland, Teakle, Tittlen, Fittlen, Little, and Didley.
Edit: On the basis of overwhelming DNA evidence, I believe this must be Joseph Titley.
