Have you no idea at all what area of Burton he came from? If it's the town area then his baptism should be St Modwens as it was the only church in the area at that time.

I have a list of bits I need to look up at the library next time I go. I'll add Thomas to it.

Thank you Marg, Thomas`s son Isaac married a Amelia/Emila Hill in Manchester, Amelia was the daughter of Edward Hill and Sarah Holmes, you looked at the Hills for me before.

Sarah was also born in Burton on Trent 1786, baptism not found, so i have been wondering if Thomas and Sarah were siblings which would make Isaac and Amelia 1st cousins.
