My OH’s father's father's mother's father's father.

Name:
Robert Hoye
Which is from marriage cert of William Thomas Hoye and Emma Moase at St Martin in the Fields in 1838. William was born in Woodford, Essex in 1816 (why they got married at St Martin in the Fields I don’t know but I believe I’ve found Emma’s sister Sarah’s marriage also there but they all lived in Woodford, Essex and were born there although the family Moase originally came from Sussex.

A crop of the evidence:-

Details of each of his or her marriages
Not found any although I have spotted an 1841 census with an Ann Hoye on with a daughter Elizabeth

Robert did have a daughter Elizabeth. and Anne is a shop keeper on that census who knows.

Robert was a grocer on the marriage cert if I’ve read it right. I have found Robert’s children well as many as I know existed on census and other documents.

William Thomas Hoye
Elizabeth Williams Hoye
Robert Hoye

Elizabeth Williams Hoye never married (I suppose she may have inherited her mother’s maiden name as a middle name either way Williams may be a family name)

I believe Robert Hoye was born Robert Mackey to Elizabeth Mackey who is the 'widow' who married Richard Hoye.

Whether she was a widow or Robert was illegitimate who knows.
