Can anyone see what is crossed out in the occ column for Ann Maynard (Mennard)? She is on the right hand page, line 7.

HO107; Piece 6; Book: 14; Civil Parish: Kempston; County: Bedfordshire; Enumeration District: 13; Folio: 10; Page: 14; Line: 7

I think it's Carpenter, same as a couple of lines above.

lol! So probably a genuine mistake.

I don't know who Ann is. I have a Mary buried in 1843 in Kempston, aged 72, and I can't find Mary on the census in 1841, whilst I have this Ann who doesn't die in that area as far as I can see. I'm wondering if they are one and the same? Can't really ask them, can I?

I may have to fork out for Mary's death cert to see if she was a spinster - she needs to be one! lol

That entry is for James Garner - I thought he was in The Rockford Files?!!

I've got an Ann in my tree who seems to have changed her name to Mary Ann after three of her sons all married Mary Anns, and then after that she is sometimes referred to just as Mary!

Hmmm......that's interesting. *checks purse for £9.25* Why does that sound so much more than £7.50 lol
