I'm not Merry, but yes, it says Typhoid Ulceration of Intestine, etc. and it says PM for post mortem.

Well, I am Merry, but I don't remember John Wm Keen, I'm afraid. In all other respects I am of the same opinion as Kate!

It was pretty common to die of Typhoid if you caught it.

It might be typhoid AND ulceration of intestines.

My gt x 3 grandmother Eliza died of typhoid, having had it for 3 weeks according to the death cert. Which meant she would have had it when she registered gt x 3 grandfather's death 2 weeks previously. He died of pneumonia.

Prince Albert died of typhoid, though Queen Victoria always blamed the Prince of Wales for causing Albert to catch cold first.

My great uncle died of typhoid in 1904. The death cert says enteric fever and toxaemia.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but I very much doubt that any post mortem records will have survived.

Sorry :(

Agree with Tom...and even if they have, remember that a post mortem is a medical examination of the deceased and therefore only of much interest to the medical profession.
