Hi all.
Wonder if anyone can help me. I just bought myself Worldwide Ancestry so I thought I'd catch up on all my overseas relations. I've been doing well so far and have managed to trace most of them. I am stuck with one though.

Michael Hobson, born c1842 Hathersage, Derbyshire.
He appears in 1851 and 1861 with his parents (James and Catherine) then vanishes. I do have a marriage for him to Elizabeth Killeen, in 1866. Apparently at a Roman Catholic church in Hathersage. I can't find my source for this now though

I thought I had tracked him to Ohio, but looking at it, it's a different Michael. Apart from one census, his DOB is 1855 and I've traced one born in the North East that has this DOB.

Can anyone help me find him please?

He's in Woolwich in 1871 and Plaistow in 1881 though he claims to be born in Ireland on that one, in 1871 he says "Hatteredge Derby". Surname is Hopson on the 1871. Refs follow in a minute...

Oh, and he died in 1889 age 47, sorry, I forgot to say before although I'd already seen that.
