Five generations in one baptism entry

I came across this in the Elkesley parish registers which I'm transcribing for FreeREG. Wish he was in my tree!

Joseph, son of John & Jane Kemshall, the son of John Kemshall, the son of Jno Kemshall, the son of John Kemshall, baptiz'd Octr 24th 1790.

(A John Kemshall was a church warden at the time, don't know which generation he was!)

Might have had a few more imaginative names, though.

Are all the entries for that year or so as detailed?
(Wondered if the event was copied up by the churchwarden, who added the personal embelishment :confused:)

No, only that one. Yes, I'm sure the churchwarden wrote them out as the handwriting matches his signature at the bottom of the page.
