is this the same couple marrying twice in their own churches ?
OR
2 seperate marriages ??
it`s not for me, it is for someone in America....trying to help as my family were from this area and I know where to look and am baffled by these 2 marriages...this person states John was from Avenbury and Susannah was from Much Cowarne.....Bromyard ,Herefordshire area....thank you...
as they are extracted , I think it is 2 seperate marriages and they are mixing up 2 John Edwards..

One or both entries may be from the banns book rather than the actual marriage. (banns are read on three consecutive Sundays in the parishes where each party was residing for the three weeks before the event!)

Well, I don't KNOW, without seeing the original records! However, you said the couple came from those two places so I guess it's likely the later date is the marriage in the bride's parish and the other entry is one banns reading in the groom's parish, but your contact would have to check up exactly where the entries have come from to be certain.
