Thes are records for ships used to house overflow prisoners from jails NOT convict transportation

My Charles Newey is on there on the Leviathan. He was sentenced to 7 years Transportation in 1838 but was pardoned in 1842. I already had the info.

I think it must be some type of Robbery, but not worked out what the C stands for yet.

Some of the prisoners in the hulks were held there pending transportation; I've found one of mine there, who was transported to Aus 4 months later.
