Its believed that Enoch moved to Derby after his wife died in 1872, taking his sons Enoch and George and changing all their names to Robotham, although he is not living with his family in 1871 and his surname is already Robotham.

Sylvia

Are you aware that there are two Hollington's? One is in Staffordshire the other Derbyshire. They are very close though, just either side of the county boundary.
My great grandfather was born in the one in Derbyshire.

Also, are you sure you don't mean Rocester, Staffordshire? I can't see a Rochester in Staffordshire.

Looking at Google maps, Hollington, Staffordshire, Rocester and Alton are in a sort of triangle.

Thank you Sarah, not so fabulous to research though with all the different spellings of both names.

Marg, this family is confusing enough without you telling me there are 2 Hollingtons, just across the border from each other LOL, no i didn`t know that.

Have corrected Rocester, must have been writeing it as it sounded in my head

Thank you.
