Can't see a death in the 1880's. Are you sure he died then or is it because you can't find him in 1891?

Hi Margaret, yes, you're right, I should get the marriage cert.
His wife appears in the 1891 census as a widow.

I did look at Prewitt as well as Prewett.

Try as I might I can't find his death for certain. Can't find them in 1861 either. I've checked Ancestry and FMP.

I know, I've searched all possible spellings, but have never found them either.
Haven't been able to find them in 1841 and Elizabeth in 1851 either, they're very good at hiding. lol

I found them on the Monmouthshire Parish Records.
Something tells me I must have found them there before now, as I have the exact marriage date, but can't remember finding them in the past.
