I've probably missed something completely obvious, but I found the christening on Ancestry in 1892 of Sarah Wicks and Henry William Wicks (not THE HW Wicks- LOL)
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/iexec/Default.aspx?htx=View&r=5538&dbid=1558&iid=31280_196173-00136&fn=Henry+William&ln=Wicks&st=r&ssrc=pt_t45875_p-1172739925_kpidz0q3d-1172739925z0q26pgz0q3d32768z0q26pgPLz0q3dpid&pid=2092123

Parents are William Wicks ( a carman) and Emma Elizabeth Wicks.

Yet I cannot find the family in 1901. Can anyone help, please?

Thank you

How about this one? Maybe the two children died.

I see another of their children, John Zebulon, was bap on 12th March (ie a few days before) the same year, so i expect the vicar asked about their older children and asked then to be brought in!!

Thanks Merry - what a wonderful name Zebulon is :)

I had been assuming that this Henry William Wicks was born in 1892, which caused me a certain amount of confusion with the other Henry William Wicks who was born in 1893, also in London.

Now I am not confused :) - at least, not about this! :d
