Help please
I've not had Ancestry for several months and am currently doing a 2 week freebie but things have changed a bit !

Where can I find BMDs that are NOT transcribed ?
I need to do a proper search

What I mean is ... is this transcribed stuff the whole thing ?

When you're on the search screen for whichever you are looking for, i.e. births, marriages or deaths, FreeBMD's transcription or ancestry's, then look at the right hand side of the screen and there should be a Browse option.

http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=8912

For Births I get

'Births 1837 - 1915 (transcribed by FreeBMD)

Births 1916 - 2005 (transcribed)

Births are fuly searchable by name and you will find individual matches in these collections'

Is that it ?
