Are there any records for Greenwich Pensioners anywhere?
I have a James Lessiman (Lesomon, Lisman etc) born c 1809 Ledbury, Herefordshire who states he was a Greenwich Pensioner on the census.

I've got someone as well...I wasn't sure what it meant. Is it the Navy?

It appears to mean he had been in the Royal Navy, but it doesn't look as if the records for his generation are on Documents Online, though I would think they might be at TNA.
This is the link to Documents Online Navy section in case it helps either of you:

Thanks for both those links, however he doesn't seem to be there.
Have you tried searching the Catalogue using his name and ADM 29? That's where I found my man. The records were on microfilm. (And gave all the ships he served on, like the later Continuous Service records.)
