I have asked about this family before but no joy, so am now trying to find just one of the children in any census after she was born or her marriage.
Mary Charlotte KNIGHT born 2 Oct 1859 and Baptised 6 Nov 1859 in Christ Church Bermondsey address given 1 Paragon Place Bermondsey

Parents
George William Knight born 10 Jul 1815 Bermondsey
Mary Knight (Leonard) born abt 1818 St Martins Middlesex.
they married
20 Jun 1839 in Lambeth

No sign of the parents after 1851 ? and can only find a couple of the chidlren after that

I see they were at the same address back in 1851, so were not apparently moving every week like most people! The householders in 1861 were called Sydenham, so presumably that's no help. (the Knights did give a different addy in 1857 though!)

Mary (1859) wasn't registered with a middle name by the look of it.

There's no sensible death reg for GWK after the bap of Mary CK, so maybe they emigrated? Were the chilren you did find independent or in institutions?

hi Merry the middle name does appear on her baptism on Ancestry.

The only children I can find on other census records is

Charles Owen Knight in 1881 in Suffolk after he married there in 1877.

William John I think as a scholar in 1871 in Surrey.

Frances Eleanor in 1871 Bermondsey after she married in 1862 in Southwark.

George Daniel in 1871 Bermondsey after he married in 1863 in Southwark

Cannot find the other children or the parents anywhere after 1851?

Would love to solve the riddle of this lot .
Any tiny bit of info would be a miracle .

Frances Eleanor in 1871 Bermondsey after she married in 1862 in Southwark.

George Daniel in 1871 Bermondsey after he married in 1863 in Southwark

A long shot, but do you have an address for either of these two at marriage? Obviously they should both be on the 1861 census, but I take it you haven't found them at that point? Have you found their spouses in 1861?

Oooh, I see the marriage records are on the LMA stuff on Ancestry. Both seem to say John's Street/Place.

One of the marriage addresses seemed to say 7 Johns Place. They are not there in 1861.

FMP let me see how many people called George had the occ Currier in 1861 in Bermondsey (only two!). I looked those up on Ancestry and they def seemed to be different families.

Where are they in 1841, Vallee?

There's a George Knight widower in 1861, parchment maker born Bermondsey with daughter Maria - but I don't know whether Maria was one of his.

Hi Vallee
Do you have birth certs for any of the children, and if so, does father sign?

I wonder whether he has left and mother is with someone else, so children are hiding under a different surname?
