I am trying to help my niece research her fiance's paternal line, but I have never had to find BMDs for the Netherlands and don't know where to look on-line.

His father was born in 1931 exact birth place not known but possibly The Hague), and he married his English bride c1960 in the Hague.

The surname is Navarro and any help would be appreciated.

I don't think the online Dutch BMD's go up to such recent times (as the 1960's), because of privacy laws. His birth might be on the FamilySearch RecordSearch pilot site, as they have Netherlands Civil Registration up to 1950, but searching for the surname Navarro on that database comes up with no matches.

The Family Search Pilot site has births for the Netherlands, but only up to 1910. Quite a few Navarros come up on there so it is worth looking if you get further back.

Many thanks for the info. Have had a look at both sites you mentioned but can't find anything which will help to find his grandparents. If I could get the marriage certificate I might be able to get further back, as there are some navarros that may be his family.

Isn't Navarro originally a Spanish name?
