I have Louisa Stanley nee Wigley in 1901 with her husband William H Stanley. They are at 148 Waterloo St, Burton on Trent, Staffs.

Both were aged 26 so born c 1874. Her in Barrow in Furness, Lancs and him in Tutbury, Staffs.

I can't find them in 1911, can't find deaths or children. Although it is a little early to get mothers maiden name.

They sailed to Halifax, Canada from Liverpool in 1906, Marg; it's on the findmypast passenger lists; their ages are both given as 30. I haven't looked at the actual image as I don't have a sub.

Edit - typed this while you were typing yours, Marg!

You might find them in the Canadian 1911 census?

I've had a quick look, myself, without success - but I don't have your incentive to find them!

Thanks Christine

I'll have a look tomorrow, a bit too tired at the moment.

This may be them but it's dependent on whether they had children on the journey out with them. I'm not an FMP subscriber so can't view the ship list

The only child who went over with them was Edwin James born in 1903. Only Edwin was living with them on the 1901 census as well.
