My husband's ggg grandparents Thomas Johnson c1806 & Mary Fletcher c1801 disappear without trace after 1851. I had traced their eldest son Edwin c1827to his death & hubby's gg grandmother Lucy c1837 to 1901, but had been unable to trace the rest of the family. I recently had a contact via GR from a descendent of Lucy's elder brother Joseph c1833 who he had found in 1861 living with their aunt Elizabeth Fletcher c1803 & youngest brother Thomas c1841

I took advantage of the FMP offer to view the image of the 1861 & it showed that they wer also living with Elizabeth's sister Ann Price c1793 a widow. I then checked the 1851 & found Elizabeth & Ann living together with the addition of a brother Joseph c1801(unmarried) & neice Winfrid Lush/k c1822 (married) &nephew (probably great nephew) William c1849. Another look at the 1861 shows Winifrid living nextdoor to her aunts with husband Charled & other children.

I am trying to find Elizabeth, Ann, Joseph & Winifrid in 1841 & to work out who Winifrid's parents were. All were born & lived in Birmingham, although Charles Lush/k was born in Dublin Ireland.

Sorry it is so long, but any help would be appreciated. :)

Winifred's husband was Charles Lusk on the 1861 census, and he is listed as Lusk on the marriage:

Mar 1855 Birmingham Charles Lusk / Winefred Macklin.

(Sorry, not looked at 1841 census yet)

Oh, and on the 1861 Charles' household has a sister in law Elizabeth Macklin age 41 born Birmingham with them, so she must be Winifred's sister.

So this is Winifred's family in 1841:

Benacre(?) St, St Martin, Birmingham, Warwickshire
Lucy Macklin 43 Y
Mary Do 23 Y
Elizabeth Do 21 Y
Winefrid Do 19 Y
William Do 17 Jeweller Ap Y
Emma Do 14 N
Henry Do 13 N
Agnes Do 10 Y

A couple of the children are listed on FamilySearch Record Search and their father's name was William, so the parents' marriage is William Machlin / Lucy Fletcher 27 Mar 1818 Aston Juxta, Birmingham (also on FamilySearch Record Search).

This looks like Ann's marriage: Thomas Price / Ann Fletcher 9 Mar 1819 Aston Juxta, Birmingham.

So this is Ann in 1841:
High St., Birmingham
Thomas Price 45 Tailor Y
Thomas Fletcher 35 Spoon Maker Y
Ann Price 45 FS Y

That is brilliant Kate, many thanks. I had found that marriage for Ann earler and with her sister marrying in the same place, it certainly looks like the right one.
Can anyone find the brother joseph in 1841? I couldn't find any possibilities when I tried earier. :)

I have just reread your last post, I guess that Thomas Fletcher must be another brother. The Fletcher family has really grown this weekend! :)
