View Full Version : Where are the Bannisters?
And don't say by the stairs!
Sarah Muir, widow married Henry Bannister 1844 at St John the Baptist, Hoxton. Sarah was born c. 1796 in Colchester, Essex.
Can't see them in censuses or a likely death for Sarah. There are some Henry Bannister deaths in Shoreditch but I can't tie him in with censuses to see which is likeliest.
Any help gratefully received.

And vaguely amused that the witness to the Bannister marriage is called Bollard

Well Henry's bro-in-law George Wain(e)wright was witness to Henry & Sarah's wedding. Sarah was originally a Marsden.
