I'm trying to work out if she's mine or it's just a coincidence:

Edwin Baptist Noel was born 1st June 1838 in St Pancras (baptised 13 June)
son of Cyprian ANthony Noel and Mary Ann nee Hobson

18 March 1861 he married Louisa Halladey in St Pancras

In 1870 there is a marriage for an Edwin Baptiste Noel to Agnes Bland in Manchester

In 1878 Edwin and Louisa Noel have a daughter called Kate baptised at St Marylebone
Place of residence is given as The Workhouse
Occupation for Edwin is painter

I can't work out if this is the same Edwin and Louisa and if Kate's connected or if Edwin/Agnes coupling is mine as well as I'm struggling to find Edwin or any of the others on the census except in 1891/1901 when Edwin's a lodger with no family.

He gives birthplace in 1901 as Camden Town and he's listed as House Painter/Decorator - although he could be something slightly more artistic earlier as his brothers are designers/painters

Thank you

Zoe

Brilliant - well done Sue. That's him.

Wonder which woman he's saying he's widowed from?

And, is Guilder and Decorator meant to be Builder and Decorator or Gilder and Decorator?

I'd say Gilder, Zoe. I've a gilder in my tree and it was always spelt with a U!
