And her marriage is in the LMA records too - 27 Apr 1874 at St Pancras Parish Church to Frederick Garrett Pasmore. He's full age, bachelor, Artist, 26 Barton (or Burton?) Crescent, father Daniel Pasmore, Artist. She's minor, spinster, same address, father Samuel Goulson, Grocer. Witnesses T Nugent Griffith and Ellen Muels(? probably got her surname wrong!)

Thanks, not 100% sure if she is one of mine but the surname isn't exactly common. Some of my Lincs lot headed down that way in the 1840's and some went to Lancashire.

Looks like they may have used a naming pattern for the kids as there are some later bits for the name William and Mary Ann in that part of the world.
I keep pulling up bits for the name in London on the London Gazette too so it's either a big chunk of family i'll discover at once or a big chunk that won't be connected!!!!

Not found them on the census yet, but there is a marriage in 1864 at Christ Church, Marylebone, between Samuel Goulson, full age, bachelor, Grocer, Park St., father William Goulson, labourer, and Mary Ann Mitchell, full age, widow, College St., father Henry Earle, carpenter.

This could be the death of Mary Ann

Sep 1875 GOULSON Mary Ann 63 Pancras 1b 76

Interesting to see the '61 has the Mitchell name appear. Could tie up in some way to the '64 marriage.

BUT

1871

Samuel Pyott 50
Mary Pyott 59
Isabella Pyott 15
Therease Earle 79
William Smith 27

... there is a birth registration for Theressa Isabella Pyott as follows

Theresa Isabella Pyott
1855, Jul-Aug-Sep, Pancras, 1b 142

So is she a Goulson or not??????
