From the Family Search Pilot site I have found two christenings for my 3xgt grandmother Elizabeth Sladen.

The one at St Chad's Rochdale I had already. Now it appears she was christened again on the same day! Has anyone else had the same?

Wardleworth was a township in the parish of Rochdale (genuki), so maybe the baptism physically took place at St Mary's church, but somehow got recorded in the PRs of the 'mother church' in Rochdale?

I have seen similar for OH's relatives who appear to have been buried twice on the same day! lol

Thanks, Merry. This lady took some tracking as on the census she is put as born in Howarth. We kept on coming up with "Haworth" until someone pointed out that Great Howarth is in/near Rochdale and that the marriage of Elizabeth Sladen and John Stillings took place in Rochdale, St Chad's.
