A bit of deciphering!

Can anyone read these names I have those up to Edgar although I'd like someone to confirm all the names but after Edgar what are they can you tell?

Mate! oh well Elizabeth Price wasn't his first wife her name was Charlotte who he had 14 children with which is probably what killed her! Not sure if he ever married Elizabeth but she does appear on the 1861 as Elizabeth Hughes wife. But some of those later names that you've come up with aren't John's younger children's names so perhaps they were Elizabeths.

How likely is it that Charlotte is living somewhere else with the younger children?

I did think my "Nora" was Harriet at first glance but as I looked at it more it didn't seem to fit.

Yep I have the baptisms and the 1841 I was a bit confused with the 1851 because of the names and Elizabeth Price!

I can't seem to connect in the two youngest ones from 1851. The others are all John Hughes' I think.

So that's "Thirza" and Agness.

Would be good to find a death fro Charlotte to work out if Agness could be hers or not

I can't see an Agnes Price in teh birth indexes that would match. there's one born 1846 but she is in baptisms with different parents.

There is an Agnes Hughes born 1844 in Whitechapel

I think Charlotte died Sep 1841 but I haven't confirmed that with a death cert!.

There's two likley ones June 1841 in a Hackney reg and one Sep 1841 Bethnal Green reg.

I just looked again and that probably does say grand daughter! Who's the mother or father though now! This family are a right case they really are.

There is a 1 year old Charlotte Mary HUghes buried in West Hackney in April 1841 who is probably the one in the June quarter.

Yes, I think now that it is. It's what I though straight away but when I studied it couldn't get the loops to match so went for Nora + an initial
