I can't get into my tree on Ancestry  - just get an error message - is anyone else having problems?

There is a problem and they've had to take the trees off line whilst they deal with it , they apologised it wasn't planned but you wont loose anything - I got a message on Facebook from them

We are actively working to get the Ancestry Member Trees
system up and running as quickly as we can. Based on estimates, trees will
likely continue to be down for the next several hours, at least through early
evening (MT time). Please know that the
information in your family tree is safe and will be available when the
...maintenance is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have
caused.

Have just had an e-mail from Ancestry - because I tried to log in on the day when the trees were down, they are adding one free day to my subscription!!

Better than nothing, I suppose!

me too!

shame they have never bothered with this in the past, we could all have about a year free by now, the number of times the service has been unavailable.

I had one too, plus one in my junk mail that AVG warned was not safe to open.
