Need help in finding the website that allows you to plan a route around your local area and then tells you how far it is.

Someone posted it on here ages ago and I never thought to save it. I'm now trying to work out how far the little walk I do in my break at work is and it would be the ideal thing.

I've got a feeling it was part of googlemaps but I can't find it for the life of me

Thank you in advance

Yes, it's on google maps. It is something like a route planner, that is, how far is it from A to B.

Is it called Get directions?

Isn't that driving the route though OC? If Zoe is walking in a no car area , then it won't work.

Don't know if this will help.

Just popped in to thank people properly because I was at work earlier and got caught on internet!

The google thing worked (although it took ages to work out what to do) but the one I remembered was the walkit.com that Wendy posted.

Also, apologies for posting on research - I very clearly wasn't quite awake this morning.

You could be planning a walk doing local research?
