Can't find. As he became a master tobacconist it is possible he was abroad learning his trade. I would love to find out what he was doing and where he was between 1841 and 1871.

I have been re-reading William Henry Lamb's will, which is quite detailed. I feel there must be some clues there as to his activities and previous whereabouts.

It refers quite a lot to his "Shipping Property" and I was wondering if there is any way of finding out the extent of this property and for how long he had owned it?
