Christiana Keen born abt 1791 in Middlesex
here she is in 1841 living with her Son as a Widow her Husband John died in 1838

I know the age is out, but have you looked for a different candidate on the census to fit with this death?

I saw that and assumed it was the one who died in 1866 (though the age is still a bit out!), but how is she mother to Christopher Austin? Should that be mother-in-law? I was worried it was a different woman who had been Mrs Austin on previous censuses, before remarrying and then losing her husband before 1861!

her daughter Christiana married a Austin ?? have lots of bits to make add up now though, I did wonder if she really was 15 when she had her first child ? so maybe she was born earlier?

Oh, that's tidy then! I couldn't find the Austins in 1851.

As you say, maybe she was a bit older? Have you got Christiana's marriage/maiden name?

I am totally confused now have found somebody on Ancestry with her in his Tree and our info is different ?
He says her surname was Corfield which I didnt know ?? might have to rethink this thanks Merry
