Where are Henry and Catherine after 1861?

Catherine Pratt married Henry Yates at St John the Baptist, South Scarle, Notts on 27th Feb 1861 (Parish Register)

On the 1861 census they are living with her brother William and his family in Temperance Road, Lincoln RG9; Piece: 2361; Folio: 107; Page: 16

I have considered that they emigrated but my Ancestry sub doesn't give me access to stuff like that.

Henry was born in Hackthorn, Lincolnshire, Catherine in South Scarle, Notts.

Yes, but they wouldn't have sat round the dinner table with their in-laws discussing travelling and then said, "Oh, we can't go, because in 150 years time someone who hasn't got the right Ancestry sub won't be able to find us!!!"

Brother William Pratt who they were with in 1861 died in 1864 and his wife remarried in 1867.

I've looked on Ancestry but no passenger lists come up at all with Henry or Catherine names.

The kids are not born in England, their parents are! First three b Indiana and last three b Kansas.

Having fiddled with the US 1870 index, it would seem that the husband of Catherine was Henry who was two years older than her! Doesn't make them yours, of course.......This would need proper checking though.

If I ask for all Yates associated with Coffey, Kansas I get the whole family - Henry 1828 Catherine 1830, William 1863, George 1864, Bell 1866 and Thomas 1868. If I add England as a keyword all the children vanish from the results leaving Henry and Catherine, presumably because they were both born here.
