Please may I have opinions on this ... have deleted surnames because it's OH's family and he prefers to be secret :D

The happy couple are Richard and Doris and they married in Barnsley.
Can't quite read his Profession, Address, where it is in Barnsley and is the father of the groom Herbert Edwin ~ deceased ?

Fankooo :)

His address looks like "Gray's Road, Carlton". Father's profession does look like Deceased although the D doesn't quite match the D of Doris. But the capital C's seem to vary, so I suppose the D's could too.

Sorry, should have said her address is also Gray's Road, Carlton.

Okay, my best guess at his occupation, not knowing the rough date, is Electrician - if you look at the E in Church of England it looks very similar.

Thanks Kate :)
The year was 1920

I agree the father looks like he was deceased, also the profession being Electrician. Not sure about the rest though.

Oh, well, I looked up Gray's Road, Barnsley, on google maps and it is in Carlton, also it says Carlton at the top of the certificate so I'm sure that bit's right.

Thank you both
Just spoke to OH ~ Gramps' background was, indeed, Electrical Engineering :)

Are we all agreed that it's Herbert Edwin ?
