Oh, they do look interesting, thanks Libby. Looks as if each one is a PDF that you have to download before you can search? In which case I'm going to wait till I'm on my main computer instead of the laptop to look through them.

Those are brilliant, I've been using them for a long time. Can't remember where they were first recommended. The only problem is that they only cover a small part of Sydney.

You need to refer to the ward boundary maps to see which ward a particular street was in:

Thanks Mary. That's great. It will give me a idea of where to look as I'm guessing a bit that certain family were still in Sydney in the early days.
