Might be a possible for 1851, he seems to be in a lodging house. Occupation is labourer though. It is a bit vague, just says born in London.

There is also this one, it's transcribed as BUTHR, but that can't be a name can it?
He is a dealer in clothes. Mind you, looking at the other names in the household I think they are Jewish so possibly not yours.

The first one is one that I always come back to but it's so vague that I've never added it to my tree!
The other I've never seen before. It is a very strange name but the original image definitely says Buthr (not that that means anything - you'd probably not be surprised at how many people can't spell Butcher!). The interesting thing about that one is that the informant on John's fathers death cert was a cousin who lived at 11 Petticoat Lane (the address on the Buthr record is No7)Its just a coincidence I know but it set bells ringing when I saw it, lol as I've never traced who this cousin was or where she went!
