If I search the 1851 (haven't tried others yet) the results bear little similarity to what I've asked for.

Example:

I asked for James Jones b Bishopsgate and got one match, but it's for Frances Jones born Birmingham!

Hmm, it's doing the same to me; seems as though it's doing that fuzzy match thing even though we're specifying exact matches only. (and also on other censuses)
