I'm looking at Susanna Carbis. She is near the bottom of the right hand column.

FMP has a clearer image: HO107 piece 141 folio 9/57 page 14

Ancestry: Class: HO107; Piece 141; Folio: 57; Page: 14;

I just want to confirm she is 10.

I can't find a baptism for her, nor can I find her on later censuses.

I've just found a death for a Susanna Carbis, aged 21, on 5/3/1852.

So she is alive in 1851. I'm wondering if she was missed of the 1851 and was living with her father.

In case you want a laugh I started this post thinking she'd died a few weeks before the census, then realised 1852 was after 1851. :o:rolleyes:

Where did she die?

Merry it was in St Buryan, Cornwall, I'm looking at the OPC site, so I should have said I found the burial.

I checked all 24 pages of census for Church Town, which is where Susanna's father lived in 1851 and where Susanna is said to reside

I also checked 2 pages after Church town and one village had only one house in it.

Hi Toni

Yes, according to the FMP image and transcription, she is 10 years old. I would think that's probably correct because they've got the children in age order and she's between a 13-year-old and a 7-year-old.

I've found a Susanna Carbis aged 19 on the 1851, but this may not be her because I can't match up her place of birth (not given on the 1841). The ref is HO107 piece 1919 Folio 435 page 36.

Mandy, it is probably her. The family seem to be from St Buryan and go back there to be buried.

Thanks for finding her.
