The Rose family again lol!

I have them in 1851 :

Class: HO107; Piece: 1561; Folio: 138; Page: 6; GSU roll: 174794.

I can't read the place of birth for him, looks like N. Brunsford but it doesn't exist!

Then again in 1861, although the ages are out & I can't read David's place of birth either & his occupation has changed!

Class: RG9; Piece: 318; Folio: 109; Page: 67; GSU roll: 542613.

Can anyone tell if it's the same family or find them in 1861 for me?

Thanks

There's a place called Rafford, Morayshire

Also Burnsford, Morayshire. don't know if they're near each other or not.

1841 Census could this be his father?

David Rose age 60 in the 1841 Census at Rafford, with son? Alexander 30 and possible wife/sister Isabella 30
Source Citation: Parish: Rafford; ED: 5; Page: 3; Line: 1170; Roll ; Year: 1841.

Thanks for that JBee I think it could be his father. Is there a place called Burnsford because I tried to find it on Multimap with no success, wondered if someone north of the border knew of it at all? :)

Looks like Rafford and Burnsford are about 38 miles apart in Morayshire - don't think that helps you work out if its the same people though.

Which is the one you think is more likely yours?

Oooo thanks JBee I couldn't find it before! There is a baptism for a David Rose, Rafford in 1805/6, but that would only fit the 1861 census one. Maybe they are two different families?

Was trying to look but ancestry wouldn't play.
