I have just been doing OH's tree & since his Mum was an only child, I have been trying to find any living relatives for her.
Well through Ancestry I have discovered her mother was one of 13 children  and at least 4 of her cousins are living, I am in contact with one in Australia & there are at least 2 in the UK.
My head's in a whirl & I can't wait to tell OH's Mum tomorrow :d

Well I hope so Kite not sure yet how she'll take the news lol!! :d
That's great news, Joan.
She doesn't have to contact them if she doesn't want, not yet anyway. No reason you can't though.

Joan, how exciting!
I know what you mean, though, about not knowing what your m-i-l's reaction will be. OH's mother (93) was not exactly thrilled when I started doing her line, although now it doesn't seem to bother her so much.

What really annoys me is the fact that I now can't access Ancestry Family Trees what on earth is wrong with the database does anyone know?
Joan
How thrilling for you!
