You need to reduce the scanning area to just the size of the photo - you have scanned both the photo and the scanning bed.

No Bren you need to re scan the photo and set the scanning details to more than 300 DPI

If it's uploaded through photobucket it will be large enough.

good idea Margaret upload it at 1 mg size the largest and should be better for them to work at ;;

Brenda the image is only 1.344 inches x 1.667 inches and only 96 dots per inch.

When I enlarge it this is what you will see.

It needs to be scanned at 300 to 600 dpi to get a better result.

I've never seen a photo loaded through photobucket come out that small. Mine always end up huge. Have you used the right code to load it?

Obviously doing it wrong somewhere.

If it's not the scanning, then it will be that your Pbucket 'file size option' is not set to the maximum.
This should be 1MB (for the free account)

Click on (more options)
