This is a bit different….
After WW2 my grandfather got very friendly with a refugee from Holland. I have a photo of him working with my grandfather here in Brisbane Australia, and a letter he sent my grandmother in 1972, after the death of my grandfather.
I would be fairly sure this fellow would have passed away by now but I am not certain. I would love to get a copy of the photo and the letter to his family.
I have found a headstone in Barrie Cemetery for someone of that name so presume it is him.
The last address I have is a PO Box in Barrie Ontario Canada in 1972.
I have looked at Ancestry for trees without any luck.
Any ideas?
