I use roots magic 9 and recently they advertised a 50% reduction for my heritage
so I took up the offer what a big mistake in searches you cannot get past the opening page which shows the result of your search then click on the search result you are taken to a page showing upgrade prices and that is as far as you can get. Going into my account and looking at my purchases there is no purchases or subscriptions showing and trying to get answers is like drawing blood from a stone so it looks like I have wasted £64-99.

I have heard that those 50% discount offers are misleading because it usually gives you a 50% discount on what would be the price after the first year, but normally if you take out a new subscription you get it something like half-price for the first year anyway. I often get emails offering me some percentage discount but they never explain what exactly the full price would be with and without it.
